Pick Blast or Sequential

How to set up routing
- On a computer, open Manager, then the Routing tab.
- Under Delivery mode, pick Blast or Sequential.
- Set Blast window (seconds): how long reps have to claim, from 10 to 300.
- Set Sequential timeout (seconds): how long one rep has before the lead moves on, from 30 to 600.
- Save.
Keep Reassignment timer (optional) unchecked. It is not ready for use, and while it is on, automatic first texts stop. If saving this page shows an error, text us at 778-764-1975 and we will make the change.
Blast or Sequential: which one?
| Mode | How it works | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Blast | Every available rep gets the lead at once. The first to tap Claim gets it. If nobody claims it, Relay tries again up to two more times, then marks it Lost. | Busy floors where speed matters most. |
| Sequential | One rep gets the lead. If they do not call the customer before the timer runs out, it moves to the next rep. | Stores that want an even share and no racing. |
New stores start on Blast. Managers can still open, reopen, or reassign any lead.
Who gets leads
- Only people with the Sales role. Managers and owners do not get routed leads, but can claim them.
- Only reps marked Available.
- Mark reps available in Settings > Team or the Floor Monitor. Reps can also do it in the app.
Common questions
What routing modes does Relay have?
Two. Blast offers the lead to every available rep and the first to claim wins. Sequential gives it to one rep at a time and moves on after a timer you set.
Do managers get routed leads?
No. Only available reps with the Sales role. Managers and owners can still claim or reassign leads.
