Call a customer
How to call a customer
- Open the conversation in the app.
- Tap the blue call button at the top.
- Talk. Use Mute, Speaker, Keypad, or Hold if you need them.
- Tap End call when you are done.
- During the call you can type Notes or tap Schedule follow-up.
- Minimize call lets you read the conversation while you talk.
- To call a number that is not a lead, tap +, then New Call.
The lead updates by itself. If the customer answers, it moves to Contacted. If not, it moves to Attempted.
On a computer, the Call button only shows once you can see the customer's full number. For a brand-new lead, make the first call from the app.
Incoming calls and voicemail
- Incoming calls ring on your phone's normal call screen, even when it is locked.
- Calls to your own Relay line ring you. Calls to a store line go to your team.
- If nobody answers in about 30 seconds, the caller can leave a voicemail. You get a Voicemail from notification. Tap it to listen.
- Someone calling for the first time becomes a new lead by itself.
See all your calls
On a computer, open Calls. Choose Missed to see who to call back. Open a call to see what happened or play a voicemail. Normal calls are not recorded. Only voicemails are.

What number shows when I call a customer?
Your Relay line if you have one, or a store line. Never your personal cell.
Does Relay record my calls?
No. Only voicemails are recorded. You can play them from the Calls screen.
Do calls ring when my phone is locked?
Yes. Relay calls ring on the normal phone call screen, including the lock screen, as long as notifications are allowed.
